Checking in on our Belle Isle Ospreys. Seems they are just going through the motions of playing house including dining on Lays Sour Cream & Onion chips? LOL
Anyway, very slim chance that we will see them with chicks this year. It’s been 16 days since the eggs were destroyed.
They will continue to defend the nest from other Ospreys that may try to take it over but I think by the end of the month we will see them spending less and less time at it.
I know it’s disappointing, but keep checking in. They are still there and you never know what you will find at the nest site
